Summary of the main conferences at FORESTech Expo Poland 2025
FORESTech Expo Poland 2025 is not only a trade fair for modern technologies for forestry and the wood industry but also a rich substantive program including a series of specialized industry conferences. On the days of November 4–6, 2025 debates, lectures, and discussion panels held at Ptak Warsaw Expo, which featured the participation of experts, scientists, representatives of the State Forests, owners of wood industry companies, and manufacturers of forestry technologies. Among the most important events were: “Sustainable Development and New Technologies in Forestry and Woodworking” – a conference organized by Szkołę Główną Gospodarstwa Wiejskiego, dedicated to innovations in effective and ecological forest resource management and the implementation of technologies supporting environmental protection. “Regulations and the Market – Key Changes for the Wood and Forestry Industry from 2026”, prepared by Regionalną Dyrekcję Lasów Państwowych w Warszawie, focusing on upcoming legal and economic changes in the sector and their impact on the industry's development. “Private Forests and the Wood Industry –Common Directions of Development” – a conference organized by wydawnictwo INWESTOR, focusing on the cooperation between the private sector and the wood industry, the exchange of experiences, and new management models. “Robots Among the Trees – The Future of Automation and Precise Measurement of Forest Materials”, an event prepared by Wydział Leśny UR Kraków, presenting innovations in automation, robotics, and digitalization of processes in forestry. The highlight of the program was FORESTech Summit Poland a meeting of leaders from the forestry and technology industries, during which they discussed market development directions, the digital transformation of the sector, and the importance of innovation in the sustainable management of natural resources.
